About FSI and Research
Frontiers of Science (FSI) is an extremely unique and educating experience that 30 students, from all over the state participate in. Over a six week period, students gather at the University of Northern Colorado campus to attend classes, listen to guest speakers, conduct research, and go on many adventures. One of the most rewarding and invigorating aspects of this program is the research projects. Teams of two or three students work with mentors to explore all realms of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). This website contains all the elements of the research project conducted by myself (Jacqueline Garcia) and Alex Crane. We were led by our amazing mentor Dr. Seth Frietze and his assistant Breanna Cullar. |
